Implementation Summary

Ethyca uses the following endpoints in Outreach to retrieve and delete Personally Identifiable Information (PII) when a user submits a data subject request. See below for a summary of what Ethyca does with each endpoint:

Because Outreach is a sales engagement tool, it stores PII about your customers. Keep this in mind when you are setting the DSR Customization as it will impact what is returned in your subject's DSR package.

If this aligns with your use of Outreach, please proceed to the next section to begin setting up your integration in the Control Panel.

For any questions, please reach out to your dedicated Customer Success Manager.

Connection Settings

To connect your instance of Outreach to Ethyca, follow the steps below:

  1. Create your Outreach datastore connection.

  2. Enter the Requester Email in Ethyca. This can be the email of any user from your Outreach account. We suggest you choose the email of the user who oversees compliance requests at your organization, such as your organization's privacy officer. You can also create a dedicated user in your Outreach account.

  3. Fill out the rest of the fields. Save your new Outreach connection. You will be directed back to the "Manage Integrations" page.

  4. Open the Outreach integration you just created.

  5. Press “Authorize Application (OAuth)” under the “Connection Settings” header. If you are not already logged in to Outreach, you will be directed to an Outreach sign in page. Enter your credentials here and sign in. If you are already logged in to Outreach, no action is necessary.

  6. Once login is complete, you will be redirected back to the Ethyca “Manage SaaS Integrations" page. You have finished setting up your Outreach integration!
