Implementation Summary
Ethyca uses the following endpoints in Braintree to retrieve and delete Personally Identifiable Information (PII) when a user submits a data subject request. See below for a summary of what Ethyca does with each endpoint:

Because Braintree is an online payment platform, it stores PII about your customers. Keep this in mind when you are setting the DSR Customization as it will impact what is returned in your subject's DSR package.

Connection Settings
To connect your instance of Braintree to Ethyca, follow the steps below:
- Log in at braintreegateway.com/login

- Click the settings menu (the gear icon in the top right corner) and select API in the dropdown menu.

- Click "generate new API key." Click "view."

- This is where you will find your public key, private key, environment, and merchant ID. Copy and paste these values into Ethyca.
